You could even write about the US accidently bombing the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. The Canadian embassy stayed open while many EU ones did not, I know someone who sought refuge in the Canadian embassy though he was an EU citizen, he spoke French and the doorman/guard at the time was from Trois Rivere a place he knew of. Belgrade is a nice place to visit lots of history, nice people, too many recent scars.
